He married Eliza H unknown about 1863. Eliza was born in New Jersey 1847. (Additional notes for Eliza H unknown⁽¹⁰⁵⁾) In the 1870 census Clinton Twp Hunterdon Co page 256B, Harrison (age 30), is recorded with Eliza (age 23), William (age 5) and Steward (age 2). His ocupation is recorded as a Carpenter and he has a personal property value of $200.

In the 1880 census Lebanon, Hunterdon, New Jersey page 361, Harrison (age 41) is living with his wife Eliza (age 34), Williard (age 15), Anna (age 10), James (age 6) and Charles (age 4). Harrison is a painter an all births are in New Jersey.

Harrison H Apgar and Eliza H unknown had the following children:

65 i. Willard W⁶ Apgar⁽¹⁰⁶⁾ was born in Clinton, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1865. In the 1880 census his middle initial is M.

66 ii. Steward Apgar⁽¹⁰⁷⁾ was born in Clinton, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1868. Steward is not recorded in the 1880 census

67 iii. Anna B Apgar was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1870.

68 iv. James H Apgar was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1874.

69 v. Charles S Apgar was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1876.
