12. John Edward³ Baumgardner (Edward Barton², Isaiah Barton¹)⁽²¹⁶⁾ was born in Darke Co. Ohio February 13, 1914. John died December 30, 2001 Miami Co, Ohio, at 87 years of age.

He married Susan Larck December 19, 1947. (Additional notes for Susan Larck⁽²¹⁷⁾) John was a member of the Piqua VFW and worked as a bartender there. He was a Navy vetran of World War II.

He is buried in Miami Memorial Park.

John Edward Baumgardner and Susan Larck had the following children:

22 i. Phyllis⁴ Baumgardner (still alive).

23 ii. Micheal Baumgardner (still alive).
