15. Joseph Henry³ Arnold (Anthony², John (Johannes)¹) was born in Hamilton Twp, Monroe Co, PA December 20, 1852. Joseph died June 30, 1936 at 83 years of age.

He married twice. He married Catherine Bonser Sobers. Catherine was born about 1852. He married Emma Jane Getz about 1877. Emma was born December 12, 1859. Emma died March 15, 1904 at 44 years of age. In the 1870 census Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co PA page 406, a Joseph Arnold (age 17) is working on the farm of John Houser (age 42) and his wife Catherine (age 43). Also on the farm is a James Heckman (age 11).

In the 1880 census Ross, Monroe, Pennsylvania page 350, Joseph (age 29) is living with his wife Emma (age 20), Oscar (age 2) and Amzi (age 2 months).

Joseph Henry Arnold and Emma Jane Getz had the following children:

27 i. Oscar F⁴ Arnold was born in Monroe Co, PA 1878.

28 ii. Amzi A Arnold was born in Ross Twp, Monroe Co, PA 1880.
