4. Thomas S² Barrass Rev (Edward¹) was born in Ibstock, Leicestershire, England July 22, 1793. Thomas died September 27, 1869 in Baptistown, Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co. NJ, at 76 years of age.

He married Sarah Green England, June 22, 1823. Sarah was born England October 20, 1796. Sarah died before 1860 in Baptistown, Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co. NJ.

He was christened in Ibstock, Leicestershire, England, October 24, 1793. In the 1850 census Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ page 134, Thomas (age 57) is recorded with Sarah (age 54), Edward (age 17), and Mary (age 14). Thomas is noted as a Baptist Clergyman and he and Sarah were born in England. They are living just a couple of doors from the Pittenger family.

In the 1860 census Baptisttown, Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ page 701, Thomas (age 67) is recorded with Mary (age 48). Thomas is noted as a Baptist Clergyman and born in Licester England.

Thomas S Barrass Rev and Sarah Green had the following children:

+ 12 i. Edward Thomas³ Barrass was born April 10, 1832.

13 ii. Mary G Barrass was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1832. Mary died October 17, 1865 Frenchtown, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 33 years of age. She married David Stryker in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, January 1, 1853. David was born in New Jersey 1832. David was the son of Abraham Stryker and Nancy Ann Slater. David died June 15, 1910 at 77 years of age. (See David Stryker for the continuation of this line.)
