24. Jack L⁴ Ashton (Alonzo L³, John Walter², John Rake¹) was born in Pennsylvania January 11, 1925. Jack died December 11, 1997 in Cape Vincent, Jefferson Co, New York, at 72 years of age.

He married twice. He married Jane Simmons May 1949. Jane was born August 3, 1928. Jane died March 1986 at 57 years of age.

Jack L Ashton and Jane Simmons had the following children:

+ 26 i. Terry Michael⁵ Ashton (still alive).

27 ii. James Dennis Ashton (still alive).

Jack L Ashton and Jeanne unknown had the following child:

28 iii. Cheri Lynne Ashton was born 1966. Cheri died July 25, 1984 at 18 years of age. Buried at Cape Vincent NY
