1. Joseph R¹ Baldwin was born in New Jersey 1882.

He married Victoria B unknown in New Jersey, 1901. Victoria was born in New Jersey 1882. In the 1920 census Montgomery Twp, Somerset Co New Jersey page 71, Joseph (age 38) is recorded with his wife Victoria (age 38), Gertrude (age 16) and Joseph (age 11). Joseph is a farmer.

In the 1930 census Princeton & Lawrenceville Road, Lawrence Twp, Mercer Co New Jersey page 8, Joseph (age 48) is recorded with his wife Victoria (age 48), Gertrude (age 26) and Joseph (age 21). They were first married as age 19 and Joseph is noted as a farmer and Gertrude is a school teacher.

Joseph R Baldwin and Victoria B unknown had the following children:

2 i. Gertrude Melvina² Baldwin⁽¹⁴⁷⁾ was born in Hopewell Twp, Mercer Co, NJ January 21, 1904. Gertrude died September 12, 1972 Flemington, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 68 years of age. She was buried September 15, 1972 at Highland Cemetery, Hopwell Township, Mercer County, New Jersey. She married Albert Wallingford Godown in New Jersey, June 25, 1930.

Albert was born Linvale, Hunterdon Co, NJ June 2, 1903. Albert was the son of Harrison Rounsaville Godown and Lena May Wyckoff. Albert died April 30, 1976 Fort Myers, Lee Co, FL, at 72 years of age. (See Albert Wallingford Godown for the continuation of this line.)
