6. Mashach F² Baits (Samuel Jewett¹)⁽¹⁴³⁾ was born Greenville, Bond Co, IL August 18, 1853. Mashach died November 13, 1904 in Osceola, Nebraska, at 51 years of age.

He married Annie C Barlow Greenville, Bond Co, IL, August 18, 1880. Annie was born Greenville, Bond Co, IL 1862. Annie was the daughter of William Caroll Barlow and Emily B Godown. In the 1870 census Woburn P.O. Mulberry Grove. Bond Co Illinois page 241, Mashac Baits (age 17) is listed as a farm hand for George McCord.

Mashach F Baits and Annie C Barlow had the following child:
