4. Richard² Barcroft (Ambrose¹) was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ September 5, 1798. Richard died November 18, 1833 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 35 years of age. Buried at Rosemont, Hunterdon, New Jersey

He married Elizabeth Lequear. Elizabeth was born in New Jersey 1799. Elizabeth died November 10, 1859 Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 60 years of age.

Richard Barcroft and Elizabeth Lequear had the following children:

5 i. Mary³ Barcroft was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey October 26, 1820. Mary died September 16, 1882 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 61 years of age. She married Thomas Lequear in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, January 25, 1845. Thomas was born in New Jersey 1818. (See Thomas Lequear for the continuation of this line.)

6 ii. Stacy B Barcroft was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ December 25, 1822. Stacy died October 23, 1863 at 40 years of age. He married Mary Ann Runk in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, December 14, 1853. Mary was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey November 11, 1816. Mary was the daughter of John Runk and Emma Chamberlain Ten Broeck. Mary died October 10, 1895 in Philadelphia County, PA, at 78 years of age. 7 iii. Francis Barcroft was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ March 17, 1826. Fanny died December 6, 1886 at 60 years of age.

8 iv. John Barcroft was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ December 17, 1827. John died September 11, 1859 at 31 years of age. He married Harriet Rose Huffman in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, December 8, 1855. Harriet was born about 1827.

9 v. Thomas Lequear Barcroft was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ September 15, 1831. Thomas died June 3, 1882 at 50 years of age. He married Mary Jane Bonham in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, July 3, 1859. Mary was born in New Jersey 1837. Mary was the daughter of John Bonham and Mary Blye.

10 vi. Martha J Barcroft was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ February 22, 1834. She married Stacy B Huffman in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, October 13, 1853. Stacy was born about 1834.
