1. George¹ Boots⁽⁴²³⁾ was born in Indiana September 1845.

He married Susanah F Crouse in Guthrie Co, Iowa, March 16, 1864. Susan was born in Clay Co. Indiana December 23, 1848. Susan⁽⁴²⁴⁾ was the daughter of Winston Crouse and Mary Stephens. In the 1900 census Linn Township, Dallas County, Iowa page 112, George (age 54) is recorded with his wife Susan (age 51), Fred (age 22), and Eunice (age 16). They have been married for 36 years and have had 5 children with 3 living at the time of the census.

George Boots and Susanah F Crouse had the following children:

2 i. Fred W² Boots was born in Guthrie Co, Iowa January 1878.

3 ii. Eunice Boots was born in Guthrie Co, Iowa March 1881.
