1. Frank¹ Brodhecker was born in Waterville, Kansas 1876. Frank died in Holton, Kansas.

He married Gertrude M Huff March 29, 1908. Gertrude was born in Glen Elder, Kansas May 12, 1884. Gertrude⁽⁴⁸⁶⁾ was the daughter of Michael A Huff and Ruth Hadley. In the 1920 census Garfield Twp, Jackson Co, Kansas page 106, Frank (age 44), is recorded with his wife Gertrude (age 35), Erma (age 10), Helen (age 8) and Kenneth (age 2y6m). Frank is a genral farmer.

Frank Brodhecker and Gertrude M Huff had the following children:

2 i. Erma L² Brodhecker⁽⁴⁸⁷⁾ was born in Kansas October 14, 1909. Erma died July 1992 in Marysville, Marshall Co, Kansas, at 82 years of age.

3 ii. Helen Brodhecker⁽⁴⁸⁸⁾ was born in Kansas January 29, 1911. Helen died February 14, 1998 in Marysville, Marshall Co, Kansas, at 87 years of age.

4 iii. Kenneth Brodhecker (still alive).
