7. John W³ Bosenbury (Jonas², Joseph¹) was born in New Jersey 1835.

He married twice. He married Barbara C unknown. Barbara was born New York 1847. He married Rachel Maria Slater in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, November 11, 1858. Rachel was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey August 18, 1838. Rachel was the daughter of Thomas Slater and Catharine Roberson. Rachel died May 1862 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 23 years of age. Died of typhoid fever In the 1860 census Tewksbury Hunterdon NJ page 45, John (age 23) is recorded with Rachel (age 22) and Ann (age 9m). John is a carpenter born in NJ.

In the 1880 census Washington Twp Hunterdon Co NJ page , John (age 42) is recorded with his wife Barbara (age 32), stepson Frank Carling (age 13), stepdaughter Madge Carling (age 11), stepson James Carling (age 9) and servant Mary Lynch (age 19).

John W Bosenbury and Rachel Maria Slater had the following child:

15 i. Ann A⁴ Bosenbury was born in Tewksbury Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ October 20, 1859.
