He married Maria Isabell McArdle St Paul, Dakota Co, MN, August 12, 1918. Bell was born in Rowena, Washburn Co, SD December 18, 1898. (Additional notes for Maria Isabell McArdle⁽³⁴⁵⁴⁾) Bell died December 6, 1981 in Cannon Falls, Dakota Co, MN, at 82 years of age. Died of heart problems married & had 8 children- 6 boys & 2 girls

In the 1920 census River Road Rosemont Twp Dakota Co Minnasota page 199, Edward (age 24) is listed with his wife Marie (age 21). Edward in noted as a farmer.

50 iii. James Oliver Linton⁽³⁴⁵⁶⁾ was born in Rich Valley, Dakota Co, MN September 14, 1924. James died May 21, 1998 in Sixes, Curry Co, Oregon, at 73 years of age. died of a heart condition
