185. Abdiel6 McClure (John5, John4, John3, Unknown2, unknown1) was born Pittsburgh, Pa July 18, 1816. Abdiel died September 23, 1887 at 71 years of age.

He married Ann Wiles Risher about 1838. Ann was born in Mifflin, Allegheny Co, PA December 14, 1818. Ann was the daughter of Daniel Risher and Sarah Cready. Also is recorded in the IGI as living in Munhall (a suburb of Pittsburg) PA.

In the 1850 census Miffin Twp, Allegheny Co PA page 199B, Abdiel (age 34) is living with Anne (age 31), Sarah (age 11), Matthew (age 8), Martha (age 6), Daniel (age 3), William (age 1), Agnes McClure (age 78), Martha McCray (age 55) and Jane Whitaker (age 26). They are all living in the household of Thomas Long (age 25). Abdiel is listed as a carpenter with a value of $12,000.

In the 1870 census New Castle Ward 2, Lawrence Co PA page 134, Abdil (age 55) is living with Mary (age 55), Annis (age 19), Nancy (age 28), Martha (age 24), John (age 22), Robart (age 27), Mary (age 20), and Minnie (age 4). All were born in PA and Adil has the occupation of Laborer.

Abdiel McClure and Ann Wiles Risher had the following children:

child 300 i. Sarah Risher7 McClure was born in Mifflin, Allegheny Co, PA May 18, 1839. Sarah died May 29, 1922 in Wollaston, Ma, at 83 years of age. She married Charles W Taylor in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA, April 27, 1882. Charles was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA April 1, 1834. Charles died December 1910 at 76 years of age.

child + 301 ii. Matthew L McClure was born December 24, 1841.

child 302 iii. Martha Denny McClure was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA May 14, 1844. Martha died February 26, 1927 Los Angeles, LA Co, CA, at 82 years of age.

child + 303 iv. Daniel Risher McClure was born October 17, 1846.

child 304 v. William Edgar McClure was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA May 09, 1849. William died January 21, 1853 at 3 years of age.

child + 305 vi. John Henry McClure was born January 26, 1852.

child 306 vii. Susan Elizabeth McClure was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA January 03, 1854. Susan died March 30, 1862 at 8 years of age.

child 307 viii. Otto Munson McClure was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA August 17, 1857. Otto died August 25, 1863 at 6 years of age.
