301. Matthew L⁷ McClure (Abdiel⁶, John⁵, John⁴, John³, Unknown², unknown¹) was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA December 24, 1841. Matthew died February 23, 1911 in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA, at 69 years of age.

He married Hannah S Read in Allegheny Co, PA, September 13, 1866. Hannah was born in Allegheny Co, PA about 1845. Hannah died 1919 in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA, at 74 years of age. Matthew served in the Civil War as a member of Co. H, 14th PA. Cavalry. He was also an architect at Homestead PA.

Matthew L McClure and Hannah S Read had the following children:

374 i. Abdiel Read⁸ McClure was born Pittsburgh, Pa May 31, 1868. Abdiel died March 27, 1950 at 81 years of age.

375 ii. Florence Luella McClure was born in Homestead, Allegheny Co, PA August 24, 1880. Florence died March 14, 1957 in Hamilton Co, Ohio, at 76 years of age. She married Amos Ewing Gillespie June 26, 1899. (See Amos Ewing Gillespie for the continuation of this line.) Amos and Florence had 7 children, 4 sons and 3 daughters
