1. Robert¹ McCoy was born in Ireland 1772. Robert died July 25, 1841 Franklin Co, Ohio, at 69 years of age.

He married Nancy Douglas in Pennsylvania, about 1792. Nancy was born in Ireland 1780. Nancy died after 1850.

Robert McCoy and Nancy Douglas had the following children:

+ 2 i. James² McCoy was born 1806.

3 ii. Mary Ann McCoy was born in Pennsylvania 1810. She married William Felkner about 1831. William was born in Ohio 1805. (See William Felkner for the continuation of this line.)

4 iii. Hugh P McCoy was born about 1812. He married Lydia Burns about 1832. Lydia was born about 1812.

5 iv. Nancy McCoy⁽³⁶²⁴⁾ was born in Pennsylvania about 1814. Nancy died before 1850 in Medina Co, Ohio. I have noted Nancy's death as being before 1850 because we see her children Amy, John and James living with their Grandmother Nancy in the 1850 census. She married Joseph R Godown Norwich, Franklin Co, OH, August 04, 1833. Franklin Co. Ohio Marriage records 1789-1850 indexed on World Family Archives CD #400

Joseph was born in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey February 10, 1810. Joseph⁽³⁶²⁵⁾ was the son of John R Godown Jr and Letitia Rittenhouse. Joseph died September 30, 1848 Norwich, Franklin Co, OH, at 38 years of age. buried at Wesley Chapel Dublin OH (See Joseph R Godown for the continuation of this line.)

6 v. Eliza McCoy was born about 1815. She married Abraham Hunter about 1835. Abraham was born about 1815.

7 vi. Katherine McCoy was born Franklin Co, Ohio about 1816.

8 vii. Rebecca McCoy was born in Perry Twp, Franklin Co, OH about 1823. Rebecca died May 1873 in Indiana, at 49 years of age. She married twice. She married Hiram Beckley. Hiram was born about 1820. She married Daniel B Barker about 1842. Daniel was born in Delaware Co, Ohio July 18, 1819. Daniel died October 29, 1850 in Delaware Co, Ohio, at 31 years of age.

9 viii. Sarah McCoy was born Franklin Co, Ohio 1825. She married twice. She married Abraham Stout. Abraham was born about 1824. She married Alexander Harper after 1850. Alexander was born in Pennsylvania 1819. (Additional notes for Alexander Harper⁽³⁶²⁶⁾)
