5. James Halbert² McClure (James Arthur¹) was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1685. James died August 1761 in Augusta Co, Va, at 76 years of age.

He married Agnes unknown. Agnes was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland about 1689. (Additional notes for Agnes unknown⁽³⁵⁴⁴⁾)

James Halbert McClure and Agnes unknown had the following children:

20 i. Andrew³ McClure⁽³⁵⁴⁵⁾ was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1713. Andrew died February 20, 1789 in Augusta Co, Va, at 75 years of age. He married Eleanor Wright in Augusta Co, Va, about 1742. Eleanor was born 1723. Eleanor died 1789 at 66 years of age.

+ 21 ii. John McClure was born 1716.

22 iii. Hugh McClure was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1725. Hugh died 1782 in Augusta Co, Va, at 57 years of age.

23 iv. Jane Jean McClure was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1727.

24 v. Josias McClure was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1728. Josias died 1817 in Augusta Co, Va, at 89 years of age.

25 vi. Eleanor McClure was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1730. Eleanor died 1799 in Augusta Co, Va, at 69 years of age.

26 vii. William McClure was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1730. William died July 1794 in Bourbon Co, KY, at 64 years of age.

27 viii. James McClure was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1735.

28 ix. Samuel McClure⁽³⁵⁴⁶⁾ was born in Augusta Co, Va November 9, 1740. Samuel died 1761 at 20 years of age.

29 x. Esther McClure⁽³⁵⁴⁷⁾ was born in Augusta Co, Va November 8, 1741. Esther died 1761 at 19 years of age.
