21. John³ McClure (James Halbert², James Arthur¹) was born in Raphoe, Donegal, N. Ireland 1716. John died after 1769 in Augusta Co, Va.

He married Elizabeth Steel. Elizabeth was born about 1718.

John McClure and Elizabeth Steel had the following children:

62 i. Anne⁴ McClure was born 1745. She married George Hutchinson. George was born about 1745.

63 ii. Ester McClure was born August 6, 1747. Ester died August 16, 1747 at less than one year of age.

64 iii. James McClure was born 1748. James died 1784 at 36 years of age.

65 iv. Jean McClure was born 1751. Jean died 1837 at 86 years of age.

66 v. Elizabeth McClure was born 1753.

67 vi. Martha McClure was born 1756.

68 vii. Mary McClure was born 1758.

69 viii. John McClure was born March 25, 1761. John died April 2, 1761 at less than one year of age.

70 ix. Margaret McClure was born 1764.

+ 71 x. Andrew McClure was born 1767.

72 xi. Eleanor McClure was born 1769. Eleanor died 1798 at 29 years of age.
