15. Richard³ Opdyke (Richard², Joshua¹)⁽³⁹⁰³⁾ was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1778. Richard died 1856 in Barbertown, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 78 years of age. Buried at the old Baptist Church cemetery, Baptistown Hunterdon Co NJ

He married Debora Fox in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, January 16, 1808. Debora was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey June 20, 1785. Debora was the daughter of Peter Fox and unknown Boss. Debora died 1859 in Baptistown, Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co. NJ, at 74 years of age. Buried at the old Baptist Church cemetery, Baptistown Hunterdon Co NJ Married Deborah Fox and had 3 children

In the 1850 census Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ page 148, Richard (age 73) is recorded with Deborah (age 65), and Rachel Cummans (age 24). He is a farmer and is next door to his son Peter.

Richard Opdyke and Debora Fox had the following children:

40 i. Amy⁴ Opdyke was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1809. Amy died 1870 Pittstown, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 61 years of age. She married Stephen Yard. Stephen was born about 1809. Stephen was the son of Stephen Yard and Rachel Conrad. Stephen died Pittstown, Hunterdon Co, NJ.

41 ii. Selinda Opdyke was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1811. Selinda died 1879 at 68 years of age. She married William Conner about 1830. William was born in New Jersey 1808. (Additional notes for William Conner⁽³⁹⁰⁴⁾) (See William Conner for the continuation of this line.)
