He married Marion Clarissa Foster in Chenango Co, NY, about 1847. Marion was born in Chenango Co, NY May 25, 1828. Marion died April 5, 1894 in Chenango Co, NY, at 65 years of age. Buried is buried in Cole Hill Cemetery, Otselic, N.Y.

In the 1850 census Otselic Twp, Chenango Co, NY page 55, Benjamin (age 24) is recorded with Clarisa (age 22), Nathan (age 2) and Abigail R (age 1). Benjamin is a farmer and all birth are NY.

In the 1860 census Plymoth Twp, Chenango County, NY page 14, Benjamin (age 33) is recorded with Marion (age 30), Nathan (age 13), Abagail (age 11), Stephen (age 8), Frank (age 7), and Ellis (age 7m). Benjamin is a farmer and all birth are NY.

In the 1880 census Plymoth Twp, Chenango County, NY page 353, Benjamin (age 55) is recorded with his wife Marriah (age 53) and Thomas (age 12). Benjamin is recorded as a farmer.

Benjamin Robbins and Marion Clarissa Foster had the following children:

8 i. Nathan³ Robbins was born in Otselic, Chenango Co, NY 1848.

9 ii. Abigail Lucina Robbins⁽⁴⁴⁶⁹⁾ was born in Otselic, Chenango Co, NY September 20, 1849. She married Asa Finch 1878. Asa was born in Otselic, Chenango Co, NY February 9, 1846. Asa was the son of James Bates Finch and Eliza Jane Crandell. Asa died 1910 in Otselic, Chenango Co, NY, at 64 years of age. (See Asa Finch for the continuation of this line.) In the 1900 census she is recorded as being the mother of 3 children and 2 are living. She and Asa are recorded as being married for 22 years.

10 iii. Stephen Robbins was born in Chenango Co, NY 1852.

11 iv. Ellis Robbins was born in Chenango Co, NY 1859.

+ 12 v. Frank Robbins was born about 1860.
