He married Rhoda Cartwright in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, October 7, 1810. Rhoda was born Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ April 19, 1790. Rhoda⁽⁴⁴⁷²⁾ was the daughter of Thomas Cartwright and Jemmina unknown. Rhoda died July 13, 1856 in Atlas, Genesee Co, Michigan, at 66 years of age. buried in Atlas Township Cemetery, Genesee County, Michigan, USA In the 1850 census Conesus Twp, Livingston Co NY page 215B, John Robinson (age 69) is recorded with Rhoda (age 60), Calvin (age 28), Washington (age 19), Thomas (age 17) and Moses (age 14). John is a farmer born in NJ.

Samuel was born in Seneca Falls, New York about 1815. Note: Lovina's great, great, great grand daughter, Dawn Weldon Mitts Neville, had a "look up" done on Lovina's death certificate, information is as follows: #11030Lavinia A. 58 iv. Sylvester H Roberson was born in Springport, Cayuga Co, NY July 2, 1817. He married Timmath Quick. Timmath was born in Canadice, Ontario Co, NY 1817. Timmath was the daughter of Jonas Quick and Ann Smith. In the 1860 census Chesterfield, Macomb, Michigan page 466, Sylvester (age 42) is recorded with Timothian (age 41), Lafayette (age 18), Melvin (age 16), Frank (age 14), Adelbert (age 10), Mary (age 9), and Moses (age 23). Sylvester is a cooper and all births are New York.

In the 1870 census Port Huron, St Clair Co, Michigan page 315, Sylvester (age 53) is recorded with Timmath? (age 52), Lafayette (age 27), Melvin (age 25), Charles (age 23), Albert (age 21), Mary (age 19), and Kate? (age 25). Sylvester is a cooper and all births are New York.

59 v. Fanny Roberson was born in Springport, Cayuga Co, NY October 21, 1819. She married Noah B. Freeman. Noah was born in Canadice, Ontario Co, NY about 1819.

60 vi. Calvin W Roberson was born in Springport, Cayuga Co, NY November 17, 1821.

61 vii. Lydia A Roberson was born in Springport, Cayuga Co, NY December 17, 1823.
