39. Lewis⁶ Sigafoos (Henry G⁵, Samuel⁴, John Jacob³, Christopher², Hans Christopher¹) was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey January 1890. Lewis died 1947 at 57 years of age.

He married Edith P Fielder in New Jersey, 1912. Edith was born in New Jersey September 25, 1891. (Additional notes for Edith P Fielder⁽⁴⁸¹⁸⁾) Edith died September 17, 1991 Trenton, Mercer Co, NJ, at 99 years of age. In the 1930 census 362 Garfield Ave, Trenton, Mercer Co NJ page 137, Lewis (age 39) is recorded with his wife Edith P (age 38), Lewis (age 17), Samuel (age 15), Fred (age 13), Edith (age 10< Henry (age 7), Estella (age 3y6m) and Henry (age 76) Lewis's father. Lewis is Lieutenant in the Police Department. Lewis was first married at age 23 and Edith at age 21.

Lewis Sigafoos and Edith P Fielder had the following children:

41 i. Lewis⁷ Sigafoos was born Trenton, Mercer Co, NJ February 12, 1913. Lewis died April 24, 2000 Trenton, Mercer Co, NJ, at 87 years of age.

42 ii. Samuel G Sigafoos (still alive).

43 iii. Fred F Sigafoos⁽⁴⁸¹⁹⁾ was born Trenton, Mercer Co, NJ February 12, 1917. Fred died September 23, 2003 Lakeland, Polk Co, FL, at 86 years of age.

44 iv. Edith P Sigafoos (still alive).

45 v. Henry T Sigafoos (still alive).

46 vi. Estella E Sigafoos was born Trenton, Mercer Co, NJ September 1926. Estella died August 1994 at 67 years of age.
