1. Edward M¹ Taylor was born England 1810. Edward died about 1875 Franklin Twp, Darke Co, OH.

He married Mary A McConnell in Medina Co, Ohio, about 1846. Mary was born in New Jersey 1817. In the 1870 census Gettysburg Franklin Twp Darke Co Ohio page 97, Edward (age 60) is listed with Mary (age 53), Thomas R (age 23) Joseph A (age 14) and Leutiting (age 8). Edward is a farmer born in England.

Edward M Taylor and Mary A McConnell had the following children:

+ 2 i. Thomas Richard² Taylor was born April 13, 1847.

3 ii. Mary Alice Taylor⁽⁵¹³⁷⁾ was born Franklin Twp, Darke Co, OH March 27, 1849. Mary died about 1875 in Medina Co, Ohio. She married Isaiah Barton Baumgardner in Darke Co. Ohio, July 29, 1869. Isaiah was born in Pennsylvania 1841. (Additional notes for Isaiah Barton Baumgardner⁽⁵¹³⁸⁾) Isaiah died about 1875 in Medina Co, Ohio. 4 iii. Joseph A Taylor was born in Darke Co. Ohio 1856.

5 iv. Letitia Jane Taylor was born Franklin Twp, Darke Co, OH August 23, 1861.
