3. Thomas C² Vanselous (Asher¹) was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1823.

He married Elizabeth Eichlin in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, December 16, 1852. Elizabeth was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1831. Elizabeth was the daughter of Samuel Eichlin and Ruth unknown. In the 1860 census Baptisttown, Deleware Twp Hunterdon Co, NJ page 753 and 754, Thomas (age 38) is recorded with Elizabeth (age 28), Samuel (age 7), Sarah (age 5), Maria (age 3) and Frances (age 1). Thomas is a farmer with property value of $1,600 and personal value of $400.

Thomas C Vanselous and Elizabeth Eichlin had the following children:

23 i. Samuel³ Vanselous⁽⁵⁴⁰⁶⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1853.

24 ii. Sarah Vanselous was born in Pennsylvania 1854.

25 iii. Maria Vanselous was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1856.

26 iv. Frances Vanselous was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1858.
