1. Abraham H¹ Transue⁽⁵²⁸³⁾ was born in Pocono Twp, Monroe Co, PA April 28, 1833. Abraham died 1863 in in Civil War, at 30 years of age.

He married Susanna Houser about 1858. Susanna was born in Monroe Co, PA September 18, 1838. Susanna was the daughter of Charles Houser and Mary Catherine Eyer.

Abraham H Transue and Susanna Houser had the following children:

+ 2 i. Peter S² Transue was born July 1858.

3 ii. Charles H Transue⁽⁵²⁸⁴⁾ was born in Monroe Co, PA March 22, 1860. Charles died December 1, 1929 in Allentown, Lehigh Co., Pa, at 69 years of age. He married Estelle Evans about 1880. Estelle was born about 1860. (Additional notes for Estelle Evans⁽⁵²⁸⁵⁾)

4 iii. George H Transue⁽⁵²⁸⁶⁾ was born in Pennsylvania June 26, 1861. He married Blanche C. Sliker about 1881. Blanche was born about 1861.

+ 5 iv. Abraham H Transue was born March 25, 1863.
