He married Mary C. Warner Brownsburg, Bucks Co, PA, October 04, 1913. Mary was born in Pennsylvania about 1894. Mary died after 1955 Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ. In the 1900 census Riner St, New Hope, Bucks Co PA page 96A, John (age 9) is living with his parents Edwin and Johanna.
In the 1920 census Waterloo St, New Hope, Bucks Co PA page 255, Edward N (age 75) is living with his wife Johanna (age 74), son John (age 29) his wife Mary (age 26) and children Edwin (age 5), John (age 4), Lewis (age 3), James (age 2), Clarence (age 1) and Mary age 5 months). Edward has the occupation of Mason and John has the occupation of a paper mill worker.
In the 1930 census Water St, New Hope, Bucks Co PA page 82, John (age 40) is recorded with his wife Mary (age 38), John (age 15), Lewis (age 14), James (age 13), Alice (age 8), May (age 10), William (age 8), Earl (age 6), Edith (age 3y6m), Mildred (age 2y3m), and Richard (age 8m). Edward has the occupation of mechanic at the paper mill.

Loretta Voorhees was born July 20, 1935. Loretta died October 17, 1979 Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at
44 years of age. She married William Stanley Godown New Hope, Bucks Co, PA, October 27, 1956.
William was born Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ March 3, 1934. William was the son of William Oliver Godown and
Bessie Crips. William died March 18, 2011 Flemington, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 77 years of age. William S. Godown, 77, of
Lambertville, died on Friday, Mar. 18, 2011, at the Hunterdon Care Center, Flemington. Born in Lambertville, Mr. Godown was a lifelong city
resident. He retired in 1981 from Argus International in Hopewell where he was a tool and die maker. Earlier he worked for Towle Lace in
Lambertville. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea. Mr. Godown was a member of the American Legion Toscanni Post in Lambertville
and the Masonic Lodge in Stockton. He was the husband of the late Loretta Voorhees Godown, the son of the late William and Bessie Cripps
Godown, and the brother of the late Robert Godown and Doris Zambella. He is survived by his companion of 31 years Carol M. Myers of
Lambertville; his daughter, Bonnie Lee Stout; his grandchildren, Dennis Stout, Danielle Stout and Stanley Snyder; and his great-grandson,
Derrick Stout, all of Flemington; his brothers, Charles Godown and Arthur Godown of Lambertville; his sisters, Jean Hash of Appomattox, Va.
and Dorothy Hagens of Shinglehouse, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday (Mar. 22) at the
Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery, Delaware Township, N.J. Arrangements are under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York
Street, Lambertville, NJ 08530.
