In the 1880 census Hilliard, Franklin, Ohio page 84, David (age 36), Dollie (age 30), James (age 11), Anna (age 8), Robert (age 6), Catherine (age 5), Adaline (age 2), and Sarah (age 1m). David has an occupation noted as Jobbing.

David Windle and Dollie Dale had the following children:

14 iii. Robert Windle was born in Medina Co, Ohio 1874.

17 vi. Sarah J Windle was born Hilliard, Franklin Co, Ohio 1880.
