4. John George Adam² Werkheiser (Carl Henrich¹)⁽⁵⁵⁴⁰⁾ was born in Bethlehem, Northampton Co, PA April 22, 1762. John died September 13, 1833 in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA, at 71 years of age.

John George Adam Werkheiser and Elizabeth Diehl had the following children:

22 i. John George³ Werkheiser⁽⁵⁵⁴¹⁾ was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA January 1785. He married Catharine Kessler about 1817. Catharine was born September 7, 1791.

23 ii. Anna Margret Werkheiser was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA March 22, 1790. She married John Itterly about 1809. John was born about 1789.

24 iii. John Nicholas Werkheiser⁽⁵⁵⁴²⁾ was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA July 11, 1793. John died September 29, 1869 in Northampton Co., Pa, at 76 years of age. He married Elizabeth Sandt Easton, Northampton Co, PA, June 5, 1814. Elizabeth was born in Forks Twp, Northampton Co, PA October 20, 1795. 25 iv. Polly Maria Werkheiser was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA about 1795. She married Peter Sandt. Peter was born in Northampton Co., Pa June 6, 1798.

26 v. Catharine Werkheiser⁽⁵⁵⁴⁴⁾ was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA 1800. She married Michael Itterly about 1820. Michael was born about 1800.

+ 27 vi. Peter Werkheiser was born 1803.

28 vii. Sarah Werkheiser⁽⁵⁵⁴⁵⁾ was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA about 1804. She married Andrew Miller about 1824. Andrew was born about 1804. (Additional notes for Andrew Miller⁽⁵⁵⁴⁶⁾)

29 viii. Thomas Willauer Werkheiser⁽⁵⁵⁴⁷⁾ was born in Plainfield Twp, Northampton Co., PA about 1806.
