He married Mable unknown in Medina Co, Ohio, 1918. Mable was born in Medina Co, Ohio June 20, 1899. Mable died May 1973 in Arcanum, Darke Co, OH, at 73 years of age. buried in Abbottsville Cemetery, VanBuren Twp In the 1920 census Monroe Twp, Darke Co Ohip page 111, Robert (age 20) is recorded with his wife Mable (age 20) and daughter Ada (age 10m). Robert was born in WV and is a farmer.

In the 1930 census Twin Twp, Darke Co Ohip page 234, Robert (age 30) is recorded with his wife Mable (age 30) daughter Ada (age 11) and son Everett (age 9). Robert was born in WV and is a farmer and forst married at age 19.

Robert M Cross and Mable unknown had the following children:

28 i. Ada B⁵ Cross (still alive).

29 ii. Everett Cross⁽⁷⁰⁹⁾ was born in Darke Co. Ohio June 19, 1920. Everett died September 1981 in West Milton, Miami Co, OH, at 61 years of age.
