He married Katherine Ameele about 1915. Katherine was born New York April 1, 1885. (Additional notes for Katherine Ameele⁽⁶⁸⁴⁾) Katherine died June 1975 in Williamson Twp, Wayne Co, NY, at 90 years of age. In the 1920 census Ontario Wayne Co NY page 15, Salim (age 31) is recorded with his wife Katherine (age 34) and daughter Fern Emily (age 3y6m). Salim is a carpenter born in NY.
