Harry died October 18, 1941 Ringoes, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 71 years of age. Buried in Pleasant Ridge cemetery

He married Lena May Wyckoff Reaville, Hunterdon Co, NJ, December 25, 1895. Lena was born Liberty Center, Ohio September 22, 1873. Lena was the daughter of Simon Peter Wyckoff and Sarah Jane Boles. Lena died November 18, 1943 Ringoes, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 70 years of age. He was 71 years old at death at Mercer Hospital after a lenghty illness. He was born at Dilt's Corner and had lived in Ringoes and vacinity all his life. He owned and operated a farm on the Old York road, between Larison's Corner and Reaville, for a great many years. He was a member of Ringoes Grange.

In the 1900 census East Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Page 88A, (very hard to read) Harry (age 30) is living in a rented home with his wife Lena (age 27). He has the occupation of farm laborer. They have been married for four years, have had one child but none are alive.

In the 1905 State census, East Amwell page 11A, Harry (age 35) is recorded with his wife Lena (age 31), 2 children, Albert (age 2) and Lester (age 5 months) and John A (age 79). Harry is a farmer and rents his farm.

In the 1910 census East Amwell, Hunterdon Co page 88A, Harrison (age 39) is recorded with his wife Lena (age 36) and two sons, Albert (age 6) and Lester (age 5). Harrison and Lena have been married for 14 years, has 3 children with 2 now alive. He has the occupation of farmer and rents the farm.

In the 1920 census East Amwell, Hunterdon Co page 87, Harrison (age 49) is recorded with his wife Lena (age 46), son Albert (age 16), son Lester (age 15), son Woodrow (age 6) and mother Rebecca (age 84). He has the occupation of farmer and was born in NJ.

In the 1930 census East Amwell, Hunterdon Co page 95, Harrison (age 59) is recorded with his wife Lena (age 56) and two sons, Forman (age 25) and Woodrow (age 18) and sister Mary E (age 53) Harrison was first married at age 25 and Lena at age 22. He has the occupation of farmer and owns the farm.

child 386 i. Charles Wilson12 Godown was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey September 10, 1896. Charles died October 28, 1896 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at less than one year of age.

child 388 iii. Forman Lester Godown was born in Three Bridges, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 01, 1905. Forman died September 28, 1982 Neshanic, Somerset Co, NJ, at 77 years of age. Lester or "Less", as he was known, had the distinct pleasure (or displeasure) of having two ships shot out from under him and survived! Lieutenant "Sparks" as he was called in the Merchant Marine, was a radio operator for nearly 43 years. On November 8, 1942 the ship he was on was hit by a torpedo. The American-West African line ship, carring cocoa beans, mahogany logs, palm oil and latex, quickly sank off the African Gold Coast. Then again about 10:30pm on July 23, 1944, this ship, part of the Liberty Ship convoy, was struck dead center in the stern. The ship sank in less than 2 minutes after the second hit tore through the side. During his tenure, he was awardes three service ribbons (for the Atlantic, Pacific, and Mediterranean-Middle East) and a two-star Merchant Marine combat bar. In the 1905 State census, he is listed as Lester F Godown age 5 months.

child 389 iv. Ella May Godown was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1911. Ella died March 30, 1912 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at less than one year of age.

child 390 v. Woodrow Wilson Godown was born in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey April 19, 1913. Woody died February 24, 1968 Flemington, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 54 years of age. Woodrow died of a pulmonary embolism and heart disease
