William died May 31, 1941 Louisville, Jefferson Co, GA, at 66 years of age.

He married Sarah Mozelle Jones Jefferson Co, GA, January 11, 1902. Sarah was born in Georgia 1885. Sarah died August 15, 1955 Louisville, Jefferson Co, GA, at 70 years of age. In the 1900 census Montgomery Co, GA Page 3, A William Gooddowns (age 24) is recorded as a servant in the Palmer household.

In the 1910 census Stellaville Twp, Jefferson Co Georgia page 65, William (age 33) is recorded with his wife Mozelle (age 25), Robert (age 8), Rebie (age 6), Jonis (age 4), and William (age 1y6m). They have been married for 9 years and have had 4 children. All births are recorded as Georgia and William is a farmer.

In the 1920 census Stapleton Twp, Jefferson Co GA page 8, William (age 43) unreadable, is recorded with his wife Mozelle (age 33), Robert (age 16), Rebie (age 14), Jones (age 10), Judson (age 8), Marjorie (age 5), and Wilber (age 2y7m?). William is noted as being a farmer.

In the 1930 census District 12, Tarvers, Burke Co, Georgia page 135, William (age 55) is recorded with his wife Mosell (age 45), Joner (age 20), Mildred (age 15), Wilburn (age 12), Margery (age 10), Betty (age 7), and Lonie? (age 5).

Ethel was born in Georgia December 18, 1911. Ethel died August 1974 Louisville, Jefferson Co, GA, at 62 years of age. In the 1930 census Travers, Burke Co, Geogia page 135, Robert (age 24) is recorded with his wife Ethel (age 19). Robert is noted as a farmer and his is recorded right next to his family.

311 ii. Rebie Maude Godowns was born in Stellaville, Jefferson Co, GA October 24, 1904.

313 iv. William Jones Godowns was born in Stellaville, Jefferson Co, GA March 5, 1910. William died August 12, 1986 Jefferson Co, GA, at 76 years of age. He married Marie Wren. Marie was born January 22, 1916. (Additional notes for Marie Wren⁽¹⁵⁰⁰⁾) Marie died December 10, 1998 Augusta, Richmond Co, GA, at 82 years of age.

319 x. Betty Evelyn Godowns was born Jefferson Co, GA January 26, 1923. Betty died January 4, 2006 Augusta, Richmond Co, GA, at 82 years of age. She married James Edward Boulineau Louisville, Jefferson Co, GA, June 25, 1949. James was born Jefferson Co, GA January 10, 1913. James⁽¹⁵⁰³⁾ was the son of Clayborn S Boulineau and Fannie unknown. James died June 15, 1974 in Richmond Co, Georgia, at 61 years of age.⁽¹⁵⁰⁴⁾
