256. Herman Schneider⁵ Heckman (John⁴, Adam³, Jurg², Unknown Parents¹ Heckmanunknown)⁽²⁴⁴⁰⁾ was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA November 26, 1810. Herman died May 15, 1864 Easton, Northampton Co, PA, at 53 years of age.

He married Mary B Butz Easton, Northampton Co, PA, May 01, 1832. Mary was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA December 01, 1812. Mary⁽²⁴⁴¹⁾ was the daughter of David Butz and Maria Heister. Mary died October 25, 1917 Easton, Northampton Co, PA, at 104 years of age. Other research has her death as 1864 and 1907

He was christened in First Reformed Church, Easton, Pa, May 5, 1811. In the 1850 census Bushkill, Easton Northampton, page 166, Herman (age 40) is living with his wife Mary (age 38) and 3 children. He has the occupation of Clerk.

335 iv. Mary Ellen Heckman was born Easton, Northampton Co, PA February 10, 1840. She was christened in Christ Evan. Luthern Church, Easton, PA, March 7, 1840.

+ 336 v. William Butz Heckman was born 1847.
