1. Charles¹ Houser was born in Tobyhanna, Monroe Co, PA May 21, 1807. Charles died April 10, 1886 in Hamilton Twp, Monroe Co, PA, at 78 years of age. Buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery,Hamilton Twp.,Monroe Co.,PA

He married Mary Catherine Eyer about 1827. Mary was born in Pennsylvania October 20, 1804. Mary died May 31, 1891 in Pennsylvania, at 86 years of age. Buried at Mt. Zion Cemetery,Hamilton Twp.,Monroe Co.,PA

Charles Houser and Mary Catherine Eyer had the following children:

+ 2 i. Josiah² Houser was born September 12, 1827.

3 ii. Johan George Houser was born in Monroe Co, PA December 7, 1828.

4 iii. Henry Houser was born in Monroe Co, PA February 26, 1830. Henry died October 3, 1830 in Monroe Co, PA, at less than one year of age.

5 iv. Mary Ann Houser⁽²⁷¹⁴⁾ was born in Monroe Co, PA September 9, 1831. Mary died March 27, 1885 in Monroe Co, PA, at 53 years of age. She married Joseph Kresge about 1852. Joseph was born in Pennsylvania February 20, 1828. Joseph⁽²⁷¹⁵⁾ was the son of Jacob Kresge and Hannah Rinker. Joseph died September 29, 1902 at 74 years of age. + 6 v. William Houser was born June 21, 1832.

7 vi. Elizabeth Houser was born in Monroe Co, PA 1837. Elizabeth died 1876 at 39 years of age.

8 vii. Susanna Houser was born in Monroe Co, PA September 18, 1838. She married Abraham H Transue about 1858. Abraham was born in Pocono Twp, Monroe Co, PA April 28, 1833. 9 viii. Tilman Houser was born in Monroe Co, PA March 1, 1840. Tilman died April 7, 1918 at 78 years of age.
