21. John³ Lake (Cornelius², John¹) was born in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey about 1782. John died May 3, 1849 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 66 years of age.

He married Anna Dilts Kingwood Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, December 23, 1802. Anna was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey April 28, 1781. (Additional notes for Anna Dilts⁽³¹⁰⁵⁾) Anna died November 15, 1861 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 80 years of age.

John Lake and Anna Dilts had the following children:

41 i. Azuba D⁴ Lake⁽³¹⁰⁶⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1803. She married John Fauss Delaware Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, March 16, 1833. John was born about 1813.

42 ii. Jacob D Lake⁽³¹⁰⁷⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey June 10, 1807. Jacob died January 18, 1880 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 72 years of age. He married Sarah Ann Ross. Sarah was born September 4, 1817. (Additional notes for Sarah Ann Ross⁽³¹⁰⁸⁾) Sarah died May 19, 1903 at 85 years of age.

43 iii. Jane D Lake⁽³¹⁰⁹⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1809. She married John Fauss March 16, 1833. John was born Delaware Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ January 6, 1811. (Additional notes for John Fauss⁽³¹¹⁰⁾)

44 iv. Nancy D Lake⁽³¹¹¹⁾ was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey 1812. She married John H Sweazy Delaware Twp, Hunterdon Co, NJ, February 29, 1840. John was born about 1820. (Additional notes for John H Sweazy⁽³¹¹²⁾)
